Veneer Stone

Building Veneer Stone is used to veneer the face of a building or house and is mortared in place. It comes in a variety of grades. Full building stone is intended to be laid on a ledge and is usually 4” in depth. Natural thin veneer is natural stone with the face sawn off. This stone is used where ledges are not available for a regular full-size building stone.

Coverage:
  • 1” - 2” Thin Veneer Stone equals 80-120 Square Feet Per Ton
  • 3” Full Veneer Stone equals 50-60 Square Feet Per Ton
  • 4” Full Veneer Stone equals 30-40 Square Feet Per Ton
  • 5” Full Veneer Stone equals 25-30 Square Feet Per Ton
  • Split Face Stones 2 1/4” - 5” 7 3/4” equals 35-45 Square Feet Per Ton

Joint spacing wall will affect final square footage per ton calculations.
